Daily maintenance

  1. Turn off the stove, unplug it from the electricity network and make sure the stove is cold.

  2. Open the big door, remove the crucible and empty the residues in the ash tray.

  3. Remove the ash tray and empty it in a non-flammable container or in your garden as fertilizer.

  4. Vacuum all parts of the hearth.

  5. Clean the crucible and every occlusion with a small brush or spatula.

  6. Clean the door and glass with dry or humid paper/cloth, with no corrosive product.

  7. Once the hearth is cleaned, put the ash tray, the crucible and the deflector back into their position.

Monthly maintenance / 500 kg

  1.  Turn off the stove, unplug it from the electricity network and make sure the stove is cold.

  2. Open the big door, remove the crucible and empty the residues in the ash tray.

  3. Remove the ash tray and empty it in a non-flammable container or in your garden as fertilizer.

  4. Remove the access trap at the bottom of the hearth and vacuum its inside and the plate before fixing it back with the wing screws.

  5. Remove the cast-iron plate to brush and vacuum the heat-exchangers.

  6. Put the cast-iron plate back into its position, making sure it is properly aligned with the pellet-feeding tube and the sides.

  7. Vacuum all parts of the hearth.

  8. Clean the crucible and every occlusion with a small brush or spatula.

  9. Clean the door and glass with dry or humid paper/cloth, with no corrosive product.

  10. Once the hearth is cleaned, put the ash tray, the crucible and the deflector back into their position.

  11. Remove and clean the residues in the T-part.

Annual maintenance

After each heating season, ask for a complete maintenance of the stove done by a professional in accordance with current legislation. This person will have to carry out a complete cleaning of the stove and check the good functioning of the moving parts of the stove. 

REMINDER : the seasonal/annual maintenance is compulsory for fire insurance.
